So after the long wait and anxiousness of being overdue, 27 hours of labor, Asher has finally taken his first breath with us. He is a perfect, beautiful baby, sleeping and eating well. We couldn't be happier.

Both Ben and I are adjusting well, enjoying the newness of changing diapers, 3am feedings, and cuddling with this tiny little person. Everyday is different and he is changing so much.

I will be on maternity leave for 12 weeks, which is fabulous, but probably not long enough to be at home with my baby.

Today he got his first bath and is also the first time I have left him to come to the library.

We are having the briss on Tuesday and an open house as well. I am a bit nervous that his peaceful demeanor will be altered by the circumcision... but hope that this is his personality and not just the easy part.
