The Long Island Sound Baby

Our first destination was Connecticut, meaning salt water and tidal pools, waves and sand for a very happy to explore and be out of the car babe. He was a little timid with the waves, but the tidal ponds were a perfect place to explore, plus the water was a bit warmer. And a lot less nerve wrecking for a mama- Asher was able to explore on his own a bit (ie, we didn't have to hold his hand) He only tried to drink the water once, got to play with some minnows that his papa caught and got really wet and sandy then was stripped down to a diaper, wrapped in a blanket and carried back to the car.
