I have been wanting to write for awhile about Asher's speech. It is amazing how many words he has and how he is now starting to categorize things. He used to say some names, but now he has to list a whole family, anytime his cousin Kaylin's name is mentioned, he says Matt, Shane and Sarah. He caught me by real suprise yesterday when he brought over a book to read, one that Cody gave him for his birthday. I explained that the book was from Cody and asked him who she goes with, he thought and confidently said Zak (ben's brother and girlfriend) I was shocked as it has been a couple weeks since we have talked about him. He retains so much information!!

He counts one and two, lists colors- only yellow, green and blue so far and is always up for telling you who lives in the pond, hop hops, turtle, fish, geese and bugs.
The funniest things these days is he desire to know if any animal we see is meat. Today we were looking at a robin, and he pointed and said bird first, but then said meat... we are happy that he knows where his meat comes from and that he seems to show that he will have now problem eating chickens that he knows.
So many words to list, but I am going to give it a shot as record: mama, papa, bubbie, zadie, grandma, grandpa, gee-grandma (great), hop hop, fish, turtle, bug, fly (dragonfly & butterfly), cow, moo, sheep, baa, pig, duck, cocka dooka doo (chicken), peeps, bike, car, drive, beep, round, hi, hello, food, eat, up, down, drink, water, yes, no, bye, bye now, slide, swing, park, play, drum, nurse, treat, snack, more, please, thank you and by far the sweetest "I love you" while touching his fist to his heart as we have signed to him for so long. I am sure I am forgetting many, he keeps adding and these are just the most popular ones of the day and don't include all of his friends and their mama's and papa's.
He also loves the garden and picking carrots and eating them, they are classified as treats!!
